Planning your festival year? Here is how the 2027 season shapes up across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Exact dates for each edition are confirmed on the individual festival pages as they are announced, so check our festivals page for the latest.
Spring
The year opens with Cornish Pasty Week and builds to St Piran's Day in March, then the May customs: the Padstow 'Obby 'Oss on May Day and Helston Flora Day on the eighth. Out on Scilly, the World Pilot Gig Championships fill the May Day weekend.
Summer
Summer is festival season proper: the Eden Sessions through June and July, midsummer Golowan in Penzance, and the coast's big weekends, from Tunes in the Dunes to Boardmasters in early August, alongside regattas like Falmouth Week.
Autumn and winter
Autumn brings the Falmouth Oyster Festival, the St Ives September Festival and the Cornwall Film Festival, before winter closes the year with the solstice fires of Montol, Tom Bawcock's Eve in Mousehole and the famous Mousehole harbour lights.
